Help Safeway End Hunger in the Bay Area
July 5 – July 31
Bring your non-perishable food donations to your local Safeway store and help feed hungry children, families and seniors in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
Summer is a time of crucial need for the Food Bank. During the school year, children from low-income families receive food through their school’s nutrition program. Now that it’s summer, these programs are unavailable. As a result, children often go without having three nutritious meals a day and struggling parents turn to the Food Bank for solutions.
