Development and Communications Associate
The Development and Communications Associate primarily supports the Senior Director of Development (SDOD), the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Director of Development (DOD) in administering the miscellaneous reporting, analysis, research, writing, donor stewardship and media needs of our dynamic and fast-paced agency. This position requires independence, impeccable writing skills, project management experience, strong interpersonal skills, creativity, analytical strength, extreme attention to detail and flexibility.
Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist
The purpose of this position is to support the functions and responsibilities of the Finance Director. Duties are primarily in Accounts Payable, Payroll and Bank Reconciliation. Duties will also include providing support to the month-end closing process, and annual audit schedule preparation.
Community Nutritionist
The Community Nutritionist provides and promotes culturally competent nutrition education to diverse and low-income populations by providing nutrition, health, sanitation and consumer information to non-profit agencies and food recipients in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Improves the nutritional status and promotes the general well-being of low-income families and individuals. Provides support and training on food handling and safety to Food Bank staff.
Administrative Assistant – Warehouse
The Warehouse Administrative Assistant ensures accurate product receipting, inventory and distribution through a system of packlists and invoices to ensure all spread sheets and invoices are completed for delivery. Primary Assistant to Warehouse Manager and Director of Distribution.
Capital Campaign and Major Gifts Officer
The Capital Campaign and Major Gifts Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and has responsibility for day-to-day planning, coordination, and management of the Capital Campaign, working closely with the Board of Directors and the Capital Campaign Co-Chairs. This position is both strategic and tactical. In addition, working as a team member in the Development Department, this individual will develop relationships in the community that will lead to an increased participation in our major gifts sources.
Annual Fund and Campaign Manager
The Annual Fund and Campaign Manager is responsible for supervising three gift processing and donor services staff members, and overseeing the deployment of two major annual fundraising campaigns: Holiday Food and Fund Drive (HFFD) and Share Your Lunch (SYL). In addition, this position is responsible for planning, growing, managing and executing the agency’s robust direct mail program. This is a management position requiring independence, creativity, analytical skills, knowledge of Raisers Edge, extreme attention to detail and flexibility.
