Hunger is not only a problem that exists in other parts of the
world, but one that exists here in the Bay Area. Second Harvest
Food Bank has been actively fighting the war on hunger since 1974.
We believe that hunger can be addressed through community involvement
and education. Use the following links to help you understand the
causes of hunger and its effect on individuals and families.
